So, today Lucky, our adorable basset hound mix got fixed. I used a local low cost spay and neuter clinic. He only stayed all day and I went to get him. He was very happy to be back home and thanks to pain meds, I don't think he is feeling too terrible. The worst part is the cone and the fact that he has to stay locked in the bathroom.
All of it was thankfully under $100. I just feel so bad for the little guy.
I will say this, as cute as the little man is, he hates having his picture taken. I have to sneak them in when he is sleeping or when he is not ready. Otherwise, you get a photo of him moving or he is not looking at you. Which is why most of the pictures I post are of him snoozing or partially awake.
