Sick, not dead

I am here! I somehow caught C's cold and was down for the count for quite a while. I am going that it's on its way out and I can go back to my regular duties. I am sure B is going the same thing because our house is a mess!

Also, lots of amazing things are starting to happen! Tomorrow, I am having lunch with my great aunt who I have never met. I am also going to order B's chair and ottoman. And our shower curtain! So excited! Once the shower curtain arrives, I can actually start looking at bath towels and rugs.
Saturday, I am getting a much needed storage unit down here. I will store things we can't quite use just now in it. So, hopefully, I can clear out some of this mess before the chair comes.

Also, Sunday is the burgers for West at Chop House Steak and Seafood. I will hopefully be getting some pictures with my camera and phone.

We Have Arrived!

After a long 12 hours in the car with breaks, a hot dog on the way, a gps that made me mad, a couple of snarls from the pooch, and my getting stuck; we made it.

We are attempting settling in like normal people. B and I both got bad colds and hopefully we are on the mend.

I can honestly say that this place is a lot smaller than I thought. It is going to take some serious thought and effort to get it functional. We did get our sofa bed and a closet for C, that broke. I am seriously loving our sofa.

Tomorrow, I may hang some pictures. The walls are very bare right now and I need to finish my pantry logging and unpacking in the kitchen and bathroom. Hopefully I can finish the "wall" in C's room too. She may not think we need privacy, but we do. We need some separation between the two rooms.

Here comes the sickness

I have been really lucky this year, I haven't gotten a cold since last winter. Until now, I can totally feel it coming on. I have a slight sore throat and general aches and pains. So, hopefully I can nip this in the bud before it gets too bad. I am moving in less than two weeks!

Also, if you are an android user, I totally recommend SwiftKey, definitely worth the $3.99 I paid for it. I loved swipe, don't get me wrong, but I am a true believer of SwiftKey.

I will write a full review in the future. I have only had the app for a day or so!
